The article emphasizes on the need to invest in peacebuilding initiatives that lead to transforming the minds of the Youth. Protracted conflicts and violence are a result of broken relationships, disenfranchisement, unemployment, and disrespect for the rule of law, inefficient governance and lack of trust with the government. Therefore, countries must invest in peacebuilding and conflict resolution programs.
